LEF Klima Scholarship Award/Math
LEF Klima Scholarship Award/Science
Inaugurated in 2013, the LEF Klima Scholarship Award/Math and LEF Klima Scholarship Award/Science will be given each year to the top graduating math and science students.
The scholarships are named after the late Kari D. Klima, who was instrumental in starting the Laker Educational Foundation (formerly the Prior Lake-Savage Area Educational Foundation). Kari exemplified the purposes, the ideals and the principles for which the educational foundation stands. She gave unreservedly of her time, her abilities, and her services to promote the interests of the school district and the foundation.
It is befitting to have these $1,000 scholarships awarded to the top math and science students in her name.
